How to use this site
Visitors can enable a screen-reading technology to decode the shorthand texts that appear on this website. I've tested a few of the many free screen readers currently available to Mac, Linux, and PC users. Below are some shortcuts to get you started.

Apple VoiceOver (Mac OS X)
Open System Preferences. Click on icon for Accessibility. Select VoiceOver from the menu. Check the Enable VoiceOver box. You can turn VoiceOver on and off with Command + F5. To listen to a web page with VoiceOver activated, you will need to refresh your web browser. Explore additional VoiceOver keyboard shortcuts.

ChromeVox (Google Chrome)
Open Google Chrome web browser. Install ChromeVox extension. To turn ChromeVox on and off in Mac OS X use Control + Command + A + A; in Windows and other platforms, use Control + Alt + A + A. To read a shorthand text with ChromeVox activated, click on the image to listen. You can listen to any element on a web page with a mouse click. Explore additional ChromeVox keyboard shortcuts.
